The completed hay pat we made through the back end of camp following a day of heavy rain
the lan was to make a central path and have others branching off to each individual tent
we also spread hay around the cooking and dining areas
packing up the stove area
everyone packed away their beds today to give us more time tomorrow
notice the mud in the areas that did not receive hay
more grave was also brought in to facilitate the usage of the bathrooms and spigots

fancy tie for the last full day
our last dinner at camp, muffin sandwhiches
The next morning, everyone was awake by 5:30 and we had the camp packed by 6:30. Many other troops went through the same process and we gradually watched the camp disappear
It had rained significantly during the night and continued until almost 6 AM. As such, we all took the precaution of wrapping our bags in garbage sacks
these sacks had to be transported over to where the bus would pick us up
packs in a pile on the only dry ground left in camp
the canopies, tables, and groundcovers for tents all packed away
all other troop gear, such as cooking materials, cots, and water coolers are stored in these three containers
MUD!!
It is interesting to recall how hot and humid the first few days had been and contrast it to how overcast and rainy the last few had been
Spaces where tents used to be
Preparing for a final sweep
The camp was so dirty that it took three full sweeps and many individuals to clean the grounds sufficiently
A scene that best describes our feelings on this morning
